Leones Glacier Trek

We go into the beautiful Leones valley in a 4X4 until we reach the rocky ground. From here, we will appreciate the Mapuche glacier which sends its water down to a river with many branches. There we will begin the trek by crossing this river, following a narrow path, relatively flat, until the Leones lake.

The we take a zodiac boat to begin a unique adventure that will lead us very close to the Leones glacier wall, which front is formed by three branches that hang from the north ice fields. We will stop here to listen and observe the continuous ice slides.
 
In short, the trip includes:

• 1 hour in 4x4 vehicle
• 6 hours round trip trek by the Río Leones valley.
• 2 ½ hours of navigation to the glacier
